English classes are offered through the Adult Education department of Gadsden State Community College – Cherokee. The classes are offered at the college's Centre campus.

Japan-America Society of Alabama

Japanese Saturday Schools

There are two Japanese Saturday Schools near Cherokee County that provide cultural education and opportunities for Japanese students. These school programs encourage the students to keep understand and keep ties with their Japanese heritage and helps alleviate cultural shock when students return to Japan.
